In 2016, Mark Wood connected with Martie backstage during The Chicks’ North American tour, where she was performing with Wood Violins instruments as part of her live setup. She incorporated both the Nashville electric violin and Concert Series acoustic-electric models throughout the DCX MMXVI and MMXVII tours, as well as in their live concert recordings.
