Kiara Williams is an electric violinist and fiddler, and one half of the instrumental duo Key to Adam. Known for her expressive playing and genre-spanning performances, she brings together elements of country, rock, classical, and contemporary music.
She began playing violin at the age of 12, inspired by a performance of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” What started as a personal interest quickly became a central focus, as she began developing her technique and exploring different styles of music.

Kiara performs on both 4-string and 7-string Vipers, using the extended range of the instrument to expand her sound and approach. The Viper’s self-supporting design also plays a key role in her performance, allowing for longer playing sessions and greater comfort on stage.
“The Viper made a dramatic difference for me. I’m able to play longer without pain, and the 7-string opened up a whole new level of depth and possibility in my music.”
She formed Key to Adam after an improvised performance with guitarist Adam, where their chemistry quickly became apparent. What began as a spontaneous collaboration evolved into a dedicated musical partnership, with the two refining their sound through consistent practice and live performance.
Today, Key to Adam performs at weddings, events, and venues across the region, including appearances at The Greenbrier and for the Governor of West Virginia. Their performances span a wide range of genres—from Metallica and Ed Sheeran to traditional fiddle tunes and classical pieces—reflecting a flexible and audience-driven approach to music.
Beyond the stage, Kiara is drawn to performances that create a direct connection with listeners, including appearances at schools, nursing homes, and community events.
