Asleep at the Wheel, Mariachi Rock Revolution

Haydn Vitera

Haydn Vitera is an electric violinist known for his versatility across genres and his role as both a bandleader and touring performer. His work spans country, rock, Latin, and fusion bringing the violin into a wide range of modern live performance settings.

He has performed as a member of the Grammy Award–winning group Asleep at the Wheel, contributing to a legacy rooted in Western swing and American roots music. This experience helped shape his foundation as a live performer, blending traditional styles with contemporary energy.

Haydn is also the founder of the Latin rock fusion group VITERA and a key collaborator in Mariachi Rock Revolution, a project that merges traditional mariachi instrumentation with modern rock influences. Across these projects, the violin plays a central role—bridging genres while maintaining a distinct voice.

He performs on the Viper, using its flexibility and stage-ready design to adapt across diverse musical environments, both in the U.S. and internationally.

“My Viper has traveled with me across the U.S. and internationally. No matter what kind of gig I’m on—country, rock, Latin, or anything in between—it consistently delivers the right sound for each style. With my band VITERA, it’s become a core part of our sound.”

His approach reflects a performance-driven mindset—focused on versatility, reliability, and connecting with audiences across genres.
